Catherine H. Clark
Catherine (Kate) has over fifteen years of experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining I3 Healthcare Consulting, Kate worked as receivables manager for Medicare and Skilled Nursing Facility billing as well as a Blue Cross and Blue Shield receivables manager for two large healthcare systems in Maryland. In 1999, she joined Kohler HealthCare Consulting, which was purchased by Navigant Consulting in 2003. Kate worked as an Associate Director at Navigant Consulting, Inc. and specialized in charge capture initiatives, interim management, process improvement, charge description master updates, and compliance auditing for both physician and hospital services.

Kate received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (1994). She is currently the Chairman of the Board of the Maryland Chapter of American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management after serving as the President. Kate is also a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Patient Accounting Manager (CPAM) since 1999. She has also worked in conjunction with the Maryland Hospital Association (MHA), the HSCRC and numerous Maryland hospitals to develop appropriate relative value unit (RVU) reporting methodology consistent with payer requirements. In this capacity, she has worked with the Physical/Occupational Therapy, Speech and Audiology, Respiratory Therapy, and Clinic Departments to ensure accurate reporting of RVUs for billable services.
