Rick Laforge
Rick joined i3 in 2014 and is spearheading the expansion of i3’s services in the Southeast. To each client experience, Rick brings over 30 years of diversified experience in the healthcare industry including finance positions in the provider sector, executive positions in healthcare revenue cycle outsourcing companies, and leadership and service delivery positions in a number of leading healthcare consultancies.
Rick is currently a member of both the South Carolina and Florida Chapters of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Master of Business Administration Degree from Clemson University.
Prior to joining i3, Rick was a Director and Partner at Berkeley Research Group where he led the Clinical Documentation Improvement service line and supported Performance Improvement implementations. In addition to serving as a skilled Chief Implementation Officer for comprehensive Performance Improvement implementations, Rick has also held leadership positions in other national healthcare consulting firms such as Navigant, FTI and Arthur Andersen. In addition to his consulting experience, Rick has several years of experience both as a leader in revenue cycle outsourcing and denial management companies as well as finance positions in both nor-for-profit and for profit hospitals and a continuing care retirement community.
